19th International DOCOMOMO ConferenceCouncil Meeting Los Angeles, (USA)

Today, the Docomomo Montenegro Chapter participated in the 19th International DOCOMOMO Conference Council Meeting held in Los Angeles. During the meeting, the Montenegro Chapter successfully fulfilled the requirements to obtain voting rights within the organization.

The agenda covered several key topics, including voting on DOCOMOMO International’s Plan of Action 2029 and beyond, as well as reports and future plans from various International Specialist Committees (ISCs). These included ISC/Technology, ISC/Urbanism + Landscape, ISC/Education + Training, and ISC/Interior Design, each presenting updates on their activities, plans of action, and membership.

In addition, members voted on new Working Party applications, welcoming Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Uruguay.

The next DOCOMOMO International Conference will take place in Athens, Greece, from 9–11 September 2028, followed by extended programs in Skopje, North Macedonia, and Sofia, Bulgaria, from 12–17 September 2028.
